On the occasion of the London Design Week, Maxalto celebrates the fifty years of its history in the iconic flagship store in Brompton Road.

The store window welcomes Pathos 50 table, the special 50-piece limited edition of a great classic from the Maxalto catalogue. The Pathos table, designed by Antonio Citterio in 2011, is designed in the original version with bronze structure, achieved by laser-cutting sheets of the metal, and rectangular top in solid Italian walnut with an untreated effect preserved in its natural state down its sides. Each table is unique, thanks to the natural characteristics of the wood. The store setting is enhanced by the most emblematic products of the Maxalto and Lilum 50, the dormouse designed by Antonio Citterio, which has been decorated by Dutch artist Patrick van Riemsdijk’s calligraphic-style touch in a limited edition of fifty pieces. Numbered and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, these are upholstered in a custom fabric reproducing this artist’s distinctive trademark style.
